Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Salem, Virginia is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
As part of their normal duties, the golf course superintendent will,
• Manage and direct the staff to complete the normal daily activities.
• Communicate daily course conditions to the Pro Shop staff.
• Conduct weekly course rides with the General Manager and attend staff meetings.
• Develop and track the golf course maintenance operating budget and agronomic plan.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Plan and direct the completion of projects identified in the Longe-Range Plan of Improvements.
• Assist in developing and maintaining course to a written Maintenance Standards plan.
• Maintain a safe and positive environment for members and staff.

Requirements:
Minimum 2-year turf degree.
Have or be able to obtain within 30 days a Virginia Pesticide Applicator License.
Project supervision experience is recommended.

Compensation:
$80,000 to $90,000 per year.
