Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Sea Island, Georgia is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
You will assist the Head Golf Professional in managing the Pro Shop, golf cart rentals, driving range, and golf instruction. You will also supervise and train the golf staff, monitor the inventory and maintenance of golf equipment and merchandise, and answer any questions about the club or the golf facilities.

Requirements:
You will need at least three years of golf industry experience, excellent communication skills, and a flexible schedule.
Ability to kneel, crouch, squat, climb, stand, sit, balance, reach, hold, bend, push, pull, and walk for prolonged periods.
Must have the ability to work for extended time periods in an outdoor environment, including sun, heat, cold, wind, rain, and higher than normal noise levels.
Ability to lift, carry, pull and push up to 50 lbs intermittently throughout a shift.
May be exposed to mechanical, electrical, chemical and fume hazards.
Hearing and vision ability (close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus)
Must have the ability to teach and assist with golf lessons or clinics.
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal.
Ability to maintain compliance with Sea Island’s Company Resort Professional Image Policy.
