Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Richmond, Virginia is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
This position will oversee the daily maintenance operation. The Golf Course Superintendent, through daily communication with the Assistant Superintendent and Equipment Manager, is responsible for the conditioning of the golf course and wellness of the golf maintenance department.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Associate degree and a background in Turfgrass Management or other related fields (preferred).
Proven experience in proactively leading and managing a team.
Previous experience as a superintendent or assistant superintendent.
Mature, Mission-Minded Individual.
Valid driver’s license required.
Possess State Pesticide Applicator License.
Proven experience in proactively leading and managing a team.
Previous experience as a superintendent or assistant superintendent.
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to provide and retain data via electronic means for informing the leadership and utilization for future analytics.
Excellent understanding of the game of golf and its relationship between agronomic practices, the game itself, and philosophy of First Tee.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $70,000 per year.
Cell phone allowance of $50 per month.
Clothing allowance of $500 per year.

GCSAA and VGCSA dues paid annually.
