1st Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Spartanburg, South Carolina is looking for a 1st Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities
• Assist it tournament operations utilizing Golf Genius Software
• Supervise and manage the overall golf operations in a professional and efficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer services, professional advice and assistance to all members and guests.
• Manage the overall operation of the practice facility.
• Supervise, schedule and train golf shop and outside service personnel as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
• Assist in purchasing, receipt, display, inventory control, promotion, and sales of merchandise.
• Track and verify all players and guests, golf cars, club storage, and additional charges as necessary, facilitate proper controls.
• Assist in supervision and administration of the handicap program.
• Enforce all rules and regulations governing golf course usage.
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner and always maintain a professional image.
• Be informed about and promote all club activities and services.
• Assist in planning and budgeting for the golf operations.
• Assist in managing tournaments and outings.
• Maintain credible golf game through practice and regular play with Club members.

Requirements
Experience Required
• 2-4 years Private Club Experience
• 2-4 years’ experience in the role of Assistant Golf Professional
• College Degree Preferred

Compensation
$45,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year.
