Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Bigfork, Montana is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities
To be successful in the position of Assistant Golf Professional, please consider the following experience, abilities, and traits:
• Detail oriented individual and able to prioritize work, managing multiple tasks with limited supervision
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to succeed in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Ability to problem solve on the spot and take ownership for problem resolution
• Assists the Director of Golf with management of daily golf operations
• Assists the Director of Golf with tournament operations/set up
• Greet members upon arrival and assist them with anything they may need.
• Assist with merchandise concession (receiving, pricing, selling, etc.)
• Assist with junior program
• GHIN and club fitting knowledge is not required but would be desired
• Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Director of Golf

All duties of the position shall be performed with the commitment to the highest level of customer/member service.

Requirements
• Assistant Golf Professional or golf club service experience preferred
• Knowledge of golf operations
• Must have fundamental knowledge and familiarity for the game of golf and rules of golf
• Candidates must be motivated to continue to learn and develop
• Fundamental supervisory practices and principles
• Strong work ethic, customer service, and communication skills
• Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community
• Enrollment in the PGA Associate Program is desired, along with serious interest in becoming a head golf professional

Compensation
$21.00 – $24.00 per hour.
