Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Sarasota, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will support the Head Golf Professional in the day-to-day execution of the golf operation, including checking in members and guests, merchandising, tournament operations, outside service operations, teaching and staff training.

Duties:
• Responsible for opening and closing procedures.
• Assist in the administration of tournament operations including the use of “Golf Genius” software.
• Perform club fitting and club repair services.
• Assist in the merchandising of all golf equipment, apparel and accessories
• Play golf with members as time allows.
• Provide golf instruction and clinics to members.
• Engage in professional development by attending seminars, meetings, and workshops in order to grow as a professional.
• If not already a PGA Member, must begin or continue to advance through the program to become a PGA Member.
• Provide a visible, positive presence throughout the Club and golf operation. Must always have a great attitude and be welcoming to members and guests.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Private Club Experience preferred .
Fundamental knowledge of the game of golf, rules and tournament operations.
Must have excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of “Golf Genius” and “Jonas” software is a plus.
Passion for the game of golf with a desire to become a Head Golf Professional.

Compensation:
$42,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year.
