Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Club in Tarpon Springs, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Specific Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer services, professional advice and assistance to all members and their guests.
• Control and manage play; ensure guest check-in and fee collection.
• Assist in managing the total operation of the practice facility.
• Provide golf instruction and clinics that is consistent with instructional methods, policies and procedures.
• Supervise, schedule and train golf shop personnel as directed by the head professional.
• Assist in the purchasing, receipt, display, inventory, control, promotion and sales of merchandise.
• Perform daily policy and procedure tasks.
• Perform basic club repair.
• Conduct oneself in a professional manner and maintain a professional image at all times.
• Be informed on, and promote all club activities and services.
• Manage the handicap program.
• Assist in managing tournaments and outings.
• Enroll and actively pursue the requirements of PGA membership and maintain an active classification in The PGA of America.
• Whatever it takes attitude.

Requirements
We are seeking an individual who would like to pursue or currently enrolled in the PGA Program.

Compensation
$15.00 – $19.00 per hour.
