Head Golf Professional
Country Club in Newport, Vermont is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The Head Golf Professional will report to the Board of Directors. It is important that this individual is professional, friendly and knowledgeable with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills and enjoys interacting with members / guests representing a broad socio- economic spectrum. The Head Golf Professional should be a positive presence at the Country Club as well as in the broader community. The successful candidate will possess a demonstrated ability to conduct tournaments smoothly and efficiently; a knowledge & experience in golf shop operations with merchandising savvy and financial accountability; PGA membership with a broad, varied background in the game of golf; good instructional skills with the ability to relate to students at all levels including juniors and potential members who are intimidated by the golf experience; a practical understanding of course management and the role of the superintendent; an intrinsic level of energy, working knowledge of Point of Sale and communication software; and an intrinsic love of the game of golf that places our professional as the face, heart and spokesperson for golf in the area.

Requirements
PGA Associate or PGA Member in good standing.

Compensation
$55,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year.
