Head Golf Professional
Golf course in Albany, Georgia is looking for a Head Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of golf operations, including the pro shop, practice facilities, tournaments, lessons, and staff.
• Deliver exceptional member and guest experiences, ensuring a welcoming, energetic, and professional atmosphere.
• Lead the development of instructional programs for all ages and skill levels, with emphasis on junior golf and community outreach.
• Manage and grow the golf shop business, including merchandise selection, inventory control, and sales.
• Organize and execute a full calendar of tournaments, leagues, and events to engage members and attract outside play.
• Develop relationships with local businesses, schools, and community organizations to promote golf and drive new membership and outings.
• Recruit, train, and manage golf operations staff, ensuring excellent service and professionalism at all times.
• Collaborate with ownership, the General Manager, and Superintendent to align golf operations with overall club goals.

Requirements:
PGA Class A membership (or actively pursuing).
3+ years of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional or Head Professional preferred.
Strong teaching background with ability to provide individual and group instruction.
Energetic, personable, and highly visible presence on the golf course and around the club.
Strong knowledge of golf shop operations, tournament software, and member service systems.
Proven ability to generate new business, recruit outings, and engage with the local community.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Compensation:
$40,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year.
