Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Locust Valley, New York is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Our internship program is designed to provide hands-on experience in providing our membership with championship quality conditions on a daily basis through: cultural practices, water management, plant protectant applications, crew leadership, and planning. Interns will work closely with the golf course superintendent and assistant superintendents in daily course preparations and responsibilities listed below:

Responsibilities & Opportunities:
• Plant health application and calibration.
• Small crew and project leadership.
• Daily course setup.
• Irrigation troubleshooting and repair.
• Mowing and rolling of playing surfaces.
• Regular goals and objectives meetings ensuring you get what you want out of your internship.
• Industry-wide connections for future career progress.

Requirements:
Turfgrass management degree seekers or closely related field.
Turfgrass certificate, 2-year degree, or 4-year degree all acceptable.

Compensation:
$18 per hour.
