Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Shelby, North Carolina is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Work closely with the Head Golf Professional and the golf operations team to provide excellent service to members and guests. This position is designed for someone eager to learn all facets of golf operations, including tournament management, merchandising, instruction, and daily play coordination.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Deliver outstanding customer service to members and guests in all golf-related activities.
• Assist with the planning and execution of member tournaments, leagues, and outings.
• Support daily golf operations including tee sheet management, pace of play, and practice facility supervision.
• Assist with merchandising, including receiving, displaying, and selling golf shop merchandise.
• Provide individual or group instruction under the guidance of the Head Golf Professional (as experience allows).
• Perform golf cart staging and maintenance duties as needed.
• Represent the club in a professional manner on and off the golf course.

Requirements:
Desire to pursue a career in golf and enrollment (or willingness to enroll) in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program preferred.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Passion for customer service and creating a welcoming member experience.
Team-oriented, dependable, and eager to learn.
Previous golf or retail experience is helpful but not required.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $21.00 per hour.
