Golf Pro Shop Attendant
Golf course in Ellicott City, Maryland is looking for a Golf Pro Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Responsible for providing a high-end experience for our members and guests. This position is responsible for multiple duties within the golf operation which include but not limited to the Golf Operation, Merchandising, Inventory Control, and Customer Service. Report to the Head Golf Professional and work to carry out their vision for the golf operation and merchandise operation. He or she is encouraged to use their own creativity, ideas, and past experiences to bring a new element to the golf shop. This position will have the ability to lead to a year round position, and or the 2026 Golf Shop Manager position.

Duties:
• Manages the retail operation for the golf shop.
• Greets members and guests upon arrival into the golf shop.
• Answers the phones and assists members according to standards.
• Places, tracks, and receives all special orders.
• Records rounds and cart fees.
• Prepares all merchandise for the floor.
• Assists in maintaining the golf shop cleaning standards.
• Conducts all communication in a professional manner.
• Always maintains professional appearance.
• Remains alert, courteous, and helpful to the members and guests at all times.

Requirements:
High school degree or G.E.D.
Bachelor’s or associate’s degree preferred.
Retail and or golf experience preferred.
General knowledge of the golf.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work independently.
Must be able to work weekends and holidays if necessary.
Events may require overtime hours and adjustments to normal schedule.

Compensation:
$16.00 – $17.00 per hour.
