Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Abilene, Texas is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Assist the Head Golf Professional in managing the day-to-day golf operations and is responsible for providing hospitality-focused service to our guests.

Essential Responsibilities
• Operate the point of sale application as it applies to green fee sales, merchandise sales, and member/guest billing.
• Reconciles daily sales and creates deposits (if afternoon shift).
• Promotes Thompson Golf Group initiatives and values.
• Maintains a clean, orderly, and well-stocked golf shop. Assists the retail buyer with merchandising and sales.
• Assists with golf outings including scorecards, cart labels, rules sheets, score sheets, and hole assignments.
• Assists in the supervision of department members that may include, but is not limited to: Starters, Player Assistants, and Guest Service Attendants.
• Should maintain excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Requirements:
Experience in the golf business is preferred.

Compensation:
$18.00 per hour.
