Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Fort Myers, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Provide exceptional member and guest service.
• Set-up and facilitate events using Golf Genius Software.
• Assist in merchandise operations with special ordering, receiving, restocking inventory, sales, and displaying of merchandise.
• Assist in managing club handicap system.
• Required to perform duties as a ranger/starter to promote timely pace of play.
• Assist with player check-in using the Jonas POS/Tee Time System.
• Assist with all opening and closing procedures.

Requirements:
Class A member or apprentice in good standing with the PGA of America.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional at a recognized golf club or country club.
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university strongly preferred.
Engaging presence with both the membership and fellow staff members.
Excellent and professional written and verbal communication skills.
High degree of personal ethics and professional integrity.
Must have high energy, team player, willingness to learn and grow as a professional, be proactive in carrying out tasks and solving problems, and provides exceptional member and guest service.
Requires people skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Jonas POS/Tee Time System, Golf Genius Tournament Software, GHIN Handicap Service is preferred.

Compensation:
$18.00 – $20.00 per hour.
