Assistant Golf Coach
University in Scranton, Pennsylvania is looking for an Assistant Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Summary of Duties:
• Assist the head coach in all coaching responsibilities throughout the season and off-season.
• Participate in all practice sessions, team meetings, and contests as warranted by the head coach.
• Represent the athletic department in an appropriate and professional manner at all times.
• Develop an appropriate and working knowledge of involved NCAA, conference, and Marywood athletic policies and procedures.

Essential functions:
• On- and off-course coaching.
• Develop student-athletes both on and off the course to be successful post-graduation.
• Recruit skilled prospective student-athletes that match the mission of the university.
• Develop and manage a budget.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of NCAA, conference, and university policies and procedures.

Requirements:
Strong knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills.
Strong collaboration with coaching staff and others through the Athletic Department and university.
Required education and work experience:
Prior coaching and/or playing experience.
Preferred education and experience:
Bachelor’s degree.
2+ years collegiate coaching experience.
Recruiting experience.
Additional eligibility qualifications (certifications, etc.):
FBI, criminal background, and child abuse clearances.
Van certification and MVR.
