2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Jupiter, Florida is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Responsible for assisting in the operating functions of the Golf Course Maintenance Department including turfgrass / plant material maintenance programs, assisting with forecasting and expense management, scheduling and maintenance of irrigation systems, chemical applications, and related recordings. Assist in implementing maintenance programs created by the Golf Course Superintendent. Take initiative to solve problems, demonstrate good teamwork and maintain good conduct and safe working habits.

Requirements:
Must have a Florida Pesticide license or have the ability to obtain within 90 days.
Candidate must be proficient in reading labels and instructions to accurately apply chemicals as directed and keep records of applications.
2 year degree preferably in Agronomy / Horticulture field.
1 – 3 years prior experience in golf course maintenance.
Must have technical and working knowledge of all equipment, products and other resources related golf course operations and to implement these resources to the level of quality as established by company standards and club expectations.

Compensation:
$24 – $25 per hour.
Paid sick and vacation time.
