Assistant Men’s Golf Coach
School in San Marcos, Texas is looking for an Assistant Men’s Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Plays a vital role in supporting the success of the Men’s Golf program. This position is responsible for the direct and independent coaching of student-athletes during practices and tournaments, as well as the development of individualized training plans.

Key responsibilities include:
• Recruiting and evaluating prospective student-athletes.
• Monitoring academic progress and providing support to ensure student-athlete success.
• Leading team meetings and contributing to a positive team culture.
• Assisting with public relations, marketing, and fundraising initiatives for the men’s golf program and athletic department.
• Ensuring compliance with all ncaa, conference, and university rules and regulations.

Requirements:
Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations.
Knowledge of general university policies and procedures.
Ability to prepare and conduct training for golf student-athletes.
Skill in the assessment and recruitment of prospective golf student-athletes.
Experience playing or coaching golf at the collegiate level.
Bachelors’ degree.
