Head Girls Golf Coach
School in Bondurant, Iowa is looking for a Head Girls Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
To provide all participating students in the skill of activity, to encourage an appreciation for the values of discipline and sportsmanship and increase the level of self-esteem; To provide a program that operates within the best interests of the school district by adhering to the Policies and Regulations of the School Board and School Administration.

Performance Responsibilities:
• Instructs individuals in the fundamentals and skills necessary for achievement in the sport.
• Organizes the program to best utilize staff skills and coordinate all levels of the program.
• Plans and schedules regular practices during the season and optional off-season activities, including physical conditioning.
• Communicates effectively with students, staff, parents, community, and media.
• Collaborates with the Athletic Director to schedule contests.
• Establishes criteria to assess student eligibility for interscholastic competition.
• Enforces sportsmanship and discipline in line with district policy.
• Recommends equipment, supplies, and uniforms to the Athletic Director.
• Supports all other school activities.
• Maintains attendance, inventory, and required paperwork.
• Ensures safety of facilities and participants during all activities.
• Stays current in the sport through clinics, workshops, and readings.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods.
• Communicates effectively and motivates staff and students.
• Demonstrates initiative in program development and decision-making.
• Engages in professional growth and fulfills district responsibilities.

Requirements:
Coaching endorsement; coaching authorization required.
Coaching experience in specific sport desired. B.A. or B.S. degree with teaching certificate recommended.
