Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Jasper, Alabama is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times to represent the club, the PGA, and yourself as a positive member of the community.
• Responsible and accountable for the daily golf operations.
• Manage, supervise, and train outside service staff.
• Supervise and maintain the bag room.
• Lead by example by providing outstanding service to members and guests; ensure the staff is doing the same.
• Provide quality golf instruction and assist in conducting junior golf clinics, including developing activities, schedules, and marketing plans.
• Be an expert in club fitting and product knowledge and actively pursue club fitting using the club’s fitting systems.
• Be knowledgeable of USGA Rules of Golf.
• Understand USGA Handicap policies and maintain the GHIN database.
• Maintain golf ability through practice and playing with members and in ANWF PGA tournaments to develop relationships and create positive exposure for the club and the professional.
• Receive product and create attractive displays with golf shop merchandise. Routinely move product around the shop to generate interest from customers and actively monitor golf shop inventory.
• Help manage and maintain the club’s 65-car EZGO fleet.

Requirements:
Class A PGA member in good standing or Level 1-3 apprentice making acceptable progress.
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
Competencies with golf shop POS systems and Microsoft Office preferred.
Strong club fitting knowledge.
Strong member service background.
Teaching all levels of golfers.
A true passion for the game of golf and the desire to grow the game and the club.
Jonas Club Software experience preferred.
Golf Genius Tournament Software preferred.

Compensation:
$32,000.00 – $35,000.00 per year.
