Golf Course Superintendent*
Golf course in Hoover, Alabama is looking for a Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee all aspects of golf course maintenance and agronomy.
• Maintain exceptional playing conditions year-round, with a strong focus on Zoysia turf performance.
• Develop and manage budgets, equipment maintenance, and staff training programs.
• Collaborate closely with club leadership on capital improvements, project planning, and environmental stewardship.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire a dedicated team of agronomy professionals.

Requirements:
GCSAA membership preferred.
Degree or certification in Turfgrass Management or related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Golf Course Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent at a high-end facility.
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with warm-season turf, especially Zoysiagrass.
Proven ability to manage high expectations for playing conditions year-round.
Skilled in irrigation systems, turf nutrition, and chemical application.
Leadership, communication, and organizational excellence.
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Turfgrass Management or related field preferred.
GCSAA Class A or Assistant Superintendent member in good standing.

Compensation:
$90,000 – $100,000 per year.
