Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Las Vegas, Nevada is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Initial Priorities of Position:
• Learn daily operations and build rapport with the team.
• Support the Director of Agronomy in planning and executing cultural and maintenance programs.
• Assist in managing staff schedules, training, and workflow.
• Ensure compliance with safety and chemical application protocols.
• Evaluate course conditions and contribute to continuous turf improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise, train, and motivate the golf course maintenance team.
• Schedule daily crew activities and ensure quality and efficiency.
• Assist with hiring, evaluations, and performance management.
• Maintain accurate records for applications, climate conditions, timecards, and materials.
• Support budgeting and invoicing processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Communicate effectively with other departments over radio and in meetings.
• Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the maintenance facility and equipment.
• Participate in special projects and additional duties as assigned.
• Wear and enforce the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

Preferred:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in turf management or related field or trades training and work-related experience in turf management.
Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in golf course maintenance.
Prior supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of turf practices and golf course operations.
Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs and work in varied outdoor conditions.

Requirements:
Associate or bachelor’s degree in turf management or related field or trades training and work-related experience in turf management.
Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in golf course maintenance.
Prior supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of turf practices and golf course operations.

Compensation:
$70,000 – $90,000 per year.
