Golf Pro Shop Attendant
Golf course in Pella, Iowa is looking for a Golf Pro Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
This position is responsible for assisting clubhouse operations including food and beverage operations and course marshal regulations.

Duties:
• Collects money and makes change using a computerized point-of-sale system.
• Answers telephone, greets customers, makes tee time reservations, provides information and assistance.
• Assists with food and beverage operations including processing customer orders, preparing food and/or
beverage orders, serving, and inventorying.
• Ensures compliance with food safety guidelines.
• Performs janitorial duties; cleans clubhouse and concession facilities and fixtures; stocks supplies, and
performs services related to golf carts.
• Operates beverage cart and serves customers including collection of money.
• Performs driving range duties including operating cart and picking range balls, cleaning range balls,
chipping green and tee complexes, set up, and trash removal.
• Ensures customer compliance with golf course rules and policies through course marshalling.
• Opens and closes the facilities.
• Assists with set up for leagues, tournaments, rentals, and other events.
• Performs general maintenance of clubhouse grounds as directed.
• Performs related duties.

Requirements:
Ability to read, write, and perform mathematical calculations at a level commonly associated with the completion of high school or equivalent.
1-2 years of previous experience working in food and beverage operations preferred. 
Possession of or ability to readily obtain a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Iowa for the type of vehicle or equipment operated.
Must be at least 18 years of age.  
Knowledge of food preparation and safety guidelines.
Knowledge of money handling principles.
Knowledge of computers and job-related software programs.
Knowledge of customer service principles.
Knowledge of cleaning principles and practices.
Skill in prioritizing and organizing work.
Skill in the provision of customer services.
Skill in oral and written communication.
