Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in La Grange, Kentucky is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities:
• Basic knowledge of daily golf course operations, USGA rules, handicap, mechanics, and techniques of the golf swing.
• Provide exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
• Assume management responsibility in the Golf Shop during peak periods, ensuring service standards are maintained.
• Manage outside operations staff—mentor, train, and schedule the team.
• Open and close the Golf Shop as necessary.
• Assist with receiving, ordering, and displaying merchandise.
• Promote golf by teaching and conducting player development programs.
• Assist in developing promotional materials to communicate programs to members and guests.
• Administer Junior Camps and Ladies Get Golf Ready Clinics.
• Serve as Head of the Junior Golf Program.
• Practice golf and play with members and guests as needed.
• Stay up to date on the latest club technology, fitting equipment, and teaching methods.

Requirements:
Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Positive attitude.
Excellent customer service skills with a high level of professionalism.
Team player.
Working knowledge of golf course operations and practices.
PGA Member or working towards PGA Membership preferred.

Compensation:
$36,500.00 – $40,000.00 per year.
