Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Joint Base Andrews, Maryland is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Supports the golf operations team with daily responsibilities, focusing on customer service, tournament execution, merchandise operations, and player development. This role is ideal for individuals pursuing a career in golf management and/or PGA membership.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, including military and civilian patrons.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures, tee sheet management, and pro shop operations.
• Support tournament planning, setup, and scoring for both recreational and competitive events.
• Supervise and train outside services staff, ensuring a professional standard is maintained.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the golf shop, practice areas, and facilities.
• Assist in merchandise sales, inventory management, and visual displays.
• Offer basic instruction and junior golf assistance under the direction of the Head Professional.
• Enforce facility rules and maintain the pace of play standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support golf operations.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Current or aspiring PGA Apprentice preferred.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a golf operation or similar hospitality role.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficient in golf point-of-sale and tee sheet software
Knowledge of USGA rules, golf etiquette, and tournament formats.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and early mornings.
Must be eligible to work on a military installation (background check required).

Compensation:
$20.00 – $22.00 per hour.
