Assistant Golf Professional
Golf course in Bridgeville, Delaware is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Instrumental in organizing and implementing golf events, tournaments, outings, leagues, teaching clinics, TopTracer range activities and other golf programs designed to bring new customers to the facility and increase the activities of current members. In addition, The position supervises all outside services operations and is responsible for ensuring that pass-holders, members and guests receive outstanding customer service, which meets or exceeds their expectations.

Essential Responsibilities
• Creates, schedules and executes golf clinics, private instruction and other golf programs, TopTracer events and leagues and assists other golf staff with execution of tournaments and events with the goal of increasing current member participation and bringing new members and guests to the club.
• Schedules all outside operations staff to include cart staff, starters, rangers, ensuring schedules are made with attention to corresponding labor budgets.
• Monitor the performance and staffing levels of assigned staff including cart staff, starters, rangers, to ensure customer service standards and productivity goals are achieved.
• Ensure that the storage areas, cart shed, and range area and bag drop area are maintained per Company cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Work in the golf shop attending the check-in desk, greeting customers, conducting check-in transactions, selling merchandise. Always maintain pleasant and professional telephone manner. Schedule tee times and handle customer inquiries and/or complaints in accordance with operating policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:
Minimum, High School graduate, BA / BS degree, preferred.
PGA or LPGA Class A Professional preferred, Associates actively working toward membership are encouraged to apply.
Min 3 years’ experience in the golf or hospitality industry preferred.

Compensation:
$40,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year.
