Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Help play a leadership role and support a group of Golf Professionals and Retailers to enhance and continue to grow our existing business and service levels. Individual will mainly focus on the “Four Pillars” of our award-winning operation.

• Help oversee the reservation system, starting, monitoring, and pace of play.
• Track and verify all members and guests, green fees, golf carts, and other charges.
• Help oversee the operations of a well-managed practice facility.
• Ensure the proper storage, safety, and cleaning of all golf equipment.
• Play golf with a variety of members and/or guests when time permits.
• Assist in maintaining a profitable golf merchandise operation.
• Maintain an attractive and orderly appearance in and around the golf shop.
• Assist in development of buying plan and all golf-related purchasing.
• Participate in physical monthly inventories and accurate inventory counts.
• Assist in the development of enhanced golf instruction programs offering individual and group clinics.
• Assist in recruiting, hiring, training, motivating, and supervising all golf department staff.
• Attend staff meetings as scheduled (Wednesdays at 2:00 PM).
• Participate in the development and preparation of budgets and review all golf operation revenues and expenses on a daily, weekly, monthly, and annual basis.

Expert in Rules of Golf, GHIN, Tee Sheet Management, Inventory Management, and teaching software.
Experience in a team role at a high-service golf facility.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Maintain a close working relationship with the Senior Leadership Team and employees in all departments.
Coordinate plans with the Catering Manager for food and beverage needs for all golf functions.

Experienced in written and oral business communications.
Maintain and promote a positive professional image within the community.
Industry involvement: Attend conferences, workshops, meetings, and trade shows.

Assist in the development, monitoring, control, and reporting on the Golf Operations budget.

Compensation:
$50,000.00 per year.
