Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Farmington, Connecticut is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Essential Responsibilities
• Work closely with the Head Golf Professional to ensure day-to-day operations are efficient and meeting the needs of the Membership.
• Assist in the operation of the golf shop. Including but not limited to: Opening and closing the shop when scheduled, organizing and displaying merchandise to the standard of the club, aiding the Head Golf Professional in product selection and ordering merchandise, working the POS system and processing transactions, producing/submitting end-of-day reports to the Head Golf Professional, answering the telephone, aiding the Members/customers with their shopping experience, being informative and helpful.
• Managing outside staff and taking the lead on outside operations. Including but not limited to: managing the flow of play on the 1st tee, training outside staff when needed, maintaining a friendly and helpful demeanor while on
property, ensuring carts are properly cleaned and stored at the end of the day, providing a high level of customer service, keeping the first tee box and the surrounding areas clean and presentable throughout the day.
• Tournament operations and the utilization of Golf Genius software.
• Taking the lead on Junior Camps and instruction.
• Acting as the Lead Professional when the Head Golf Professional is off property.
• Enhancing all facets of the golf operation with creativity and the willingness to go above and beyond the expected parameters.
• Club repair and alterations.
• Assist the Head Golf Professional in scheduling and staff organization.

Requirements:
Previous experience at a private facility (preferred).
Experience with Golf Genius software.
Experience supervising staff.

Compensation:
$60,000.00 per year.
