Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in West Hartford, Connecticut is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Work closely with the Head Golf Professional, learning and helping with all aspects of the golf operation.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide excellent customer service, professional advice and assistance to all members and their guests.
• Assist in managing the total operation of the practice facility.
• Provide golf instruction and clinics with a high level of knowledge and enthusiasm.
• Supervise, schedule and train golf personnel as directed by the Head Golf Professional.
• Organize and promote all Club Tournaments and other special events/functions at the club.
• Stay up to date on latest club technology, fitting equipment and teaching methods/technologies.
• Play golf with different segments of members; Men, Women, Seniors & Juniors.
• Maintain focus and attention on detail.
• Assists with on course issues such as pace of play, marking and defining.
• Performs club repair.
• Requires good time/task management and a positive, upbeat attitude.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
PGA and/or LPGA affiliated is preffered.
Proficient in Golf Genius Tournament and Golf Shop Software.
Knowledgeable utilizing JONAS or POS system.
You have customer service experience and knowledge of the game of golf.
The position will be a full-time/seasonal position running March 15th or April 1st through November 13th. Start and finish date are negotiable.

Compensation:
$850.00 – $1,000.00 per week.
