2nd Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Savannah, Georgia is looking for a 2nd Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Responsible for the supervisions of outside service staff to ensure the highest level of professionalism and customer service. The ideal candidate is someone that is looking to pursue a career in golf. This role is an entry-level assistant job where you are not just limited to managing the outside staff, you will also get tournament management experience, retail and more.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsible for overseeing the outside staff, practice area and cart storage areas at a high level for our members and guest.
• Day to day will work hand in hand with the head golf professional to ensure that the cart fleet is maintained at a high level. And assist with other needs assigned by the Head Golf Professional
• You will work inside the golf shop and outside with the cart staff.
• Must be able to work both in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Some shifts will be outside and some in the golf shop.
• Assist golfers by loading bags, cleaning clubs and taking customers to their cars when necessary.
• Work with staff to report all damage to management to be fixed in a timely manner to limit the time of down carts.
• Responsible for monthly and weekly cart maintenance on carts, tire pursue, cart rotation, and detailing of carts.
• Must be able to interact with members, guest and employees in a positive way.
• Assist with golf tournaments and planning of events
• Teaching individual and group lessons once passed the PAT and started level 1 of the PGA program
• Assist with any other task assigned by professional staff.

Requirements:
Customer Service experience.
Basic golf knowledge and etiquette.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Passed the PGA PAT.

Compensation:
$13.00 – $15.00 per hour.
