Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf Course in Millville, New Jersey is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Be involved in the planning, growing in, and maintenance of all golf course grounds. This is an opportunity to participate in all phases of construction, irrigation installation, turf establishment, and crew management at a world-class site. Construction and grow-in of all practice facilities will begin this spring. This includes a short course, a 30,000 sq. ft. putting green, short game area, and driving range. You will also be involved in transforming the 18 holes from an establishment phase to championship-level conditions.

Duties:
• Construction, seeding, and establishment of USGA bentgrass greens.
• Establishment and maintenance of all other playing surfaces.
• Pre-plant fertilizer applications.
• Chemical applications.
• Water management and use of Rainbird IC system.
• Use of golf course cultivation equipment.

Requirements:
Should be enrolled in 2 or 4 year degree or certificate program in turf management.
One season of golf course maintenance experience preferred but not required.

Compensation:
$18 per hour.
