Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Hamden, Connecticut is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Requirements:
Currently possess or have the ability to obtain a CT Pesticide applicators license.
Typical duties will include course set up, hand watering, chemical and fertilizer applications, irrigation repair and maintenance.
Knowledge of the game of golf is required.
Looking for a motivated individual that is looking to advance his/her career.
The applicant must have the ability to communicate with his peers and management.
The position requires flexibility in scheduling and willing to put in long summer days when needed.
A keen eye for details is a must. Additional training will be provided.
B.S., A.S., Turf Certificate from an accredited Turfgrass Management program or becoming a graduate.
Minimum of 2 years of golf course experience.
Previous Assistant Superintendent experience preferred.
Knowledge of all facets of golf course operations is required.
Must possess the ability to train, supervise and evaluate maintenance crew personnel.
Ability to operate a backhoe/loader, skid steer and an excavator.

Compensation:
$75,000 – $80,000 per year.
Health, vision, dental after 90 days.
Meals, uniforms, local and national dues. Vacation, sick and 401K with matching.
