Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Bloomfield Township, Michigan is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
The primary function of this job role is to contribute to the success of the shop with an emphasis on supporting the hard goods aspect of merchandising. With many events on the calendar each season, you will assist in the execution of tournaments and events with a focus on providing an excellent member experience.

Essential Responsibilities:
• 5-Day work week in season, pending no outing or major club event is scheduled.
• Provide a high level of consistent and proactive service to members and guests.
• Exhibit effective and efficient communication with membership and staff.
• Assist in the execution of the club’s tournament programs.
• Adhere to Oakland Hills’ policies and procedures.
• Develop relationships within departments to better understand club operations.
• Maintain and contribute to the success of the Golf Shop, including the filling and point of purchase displays for merchandise; inventory levels on the sales floor; assisting members and guests with sales; fulfilling special orders; assisting with shipping and receiving; quarterly inventories; and member satisfaction.
• Provide lessons and club fittings to membership within blocked teaching time.
• Support the Head Golf Professional and golf professional staff in promoting a positive, interactive, and team-oriented atmosphere within the golf operation.
• This is a seasonal position, beginning in April and ending in October.

Requirements:
PGA member or PGA Associate in good standing.
