Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf course in Littleton, Colorado is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in planning and implementing all golf course maintenance practices.
• Supervise and train grounds staff to ensure exceptional course conditions.
• Perform and oversee the application of fertilizers and pesticides in compliance with regulations, ensuring accurate record-keeping of application logs
• Monitor course conditions, including turf health and irrigation systems, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure proper operation and calibration of maintenance equipment.
• Collaborate on budget planning, inventory management, and equipment maintenance schedules.
• Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
• Collaborate with the Director of Grounds and Superintendent on renovation and improvement projects.
• Assume duties of Golf Course Superintendent as needed.

Requirements:
2- or 4-year degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management or a related field.
Colorado pesticide applicator’s license or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in golf course maintenance, with leadership experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of agronomy, turfgrass science, and irrigation systems.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Compensation:
$75,000 – $80,000 per year.
