Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Livingston, New Jersey is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
The right candidate will work closely with the Superintendent on all aspects of course maintenance. The position will be “hands-on” and very inclusive.

Requirements:
Possess a strong attention to detail and knowledge base for the daily maintenance of a golf course, including but not limited to hand watering, operating and troubleshooting of a Toro irrigation system, record keeping, IPM measures, equipment operation, and golf course setup.
Necessary to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the course in all weather conditions.
Planning and implementing cultural practices for all playing surfaces.
Effective scheduling of daily jobs to crew is vital to maximize time.
Effectively communicate with employees and clubhouse personnel to keep an open line of communication and understanding of the status of the golf course.
Accurately perform chemical and fertilizer applications to all golf course entities, including greens, tees, fairways, bunker faces, roughs, natives, and landscape areas.

Potential candidate must have:
Minimum 2 years experience in the turf industry.
Turf certificate or 2 or 4-year degree in a turf-related field.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $75,000 per year.
