Golf Shop Assistant
Country Club in El Paso, Texas is looking for a Golf Shop Assistant.

Position Overview:
You play a major role in providing the best quality service possible. “Service with a Smile” is a key element in providing a positive experience. You should be organized, able to think and act quickly and effectively while retaining self-composure. Multi tasking at the highest level & a sense of urgency in your timing are the most desirable traits for us.

Summary of Essential Functions:
• Serve as a point of contact with members and their guests inside the golf shop.
• Assist the merchandiser with shop maintenance. I.e Keeping clothing folded, neatly presented and the shop clean.
• Properly handle the tee sheet & POS System by checking in members & guests for their tee times. Also scheduling tee times for members and guests.
• Maintain the phones and keep record of calls and information gathered. Use this to advise the professional staff of what is going on.
• Help the professional staff with Tournament Set up- this is on a case-to-case basis.

Requirements:
Must be able to multitask and handle a fast-paced work environment.
Must have a good attitude.
A clean & professional appearance.
A good understanding of the Golf Industry & the ability to anticipate members needs.
Valid driver’s license.
Must be available for emergency and scheduled work requirements on evenings, weekends or holidays.
Must be able lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs.
Requires long periods of standing and frequent bending.
Ideally working towards a career in the golf industry.
