Head Girl’s Golf Coach
High School in Philomath, Oregon is looking for a Head Girl’s Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Duties:
• Teach and coach techniques and skills needed for the Golf program.
• Recruit, evaluate and assign assistant coaches to appropriate program levels.
• Teach character development and leadership skills.
• Ensure athlete safety, including prevention of bullying, harassment, and hazing.
• Coordinate a practice schedule for the entire season.
• Assist Golf teams in making decisions, planning events, and implementing plans.
• Coordinate upkeep for Golf practice and game facilities.
• Attend all Golf competitions in preparation for State competition.
• Organize appropriate awards for Sports Awards Night.
• Prepare and submit yearly budget and order necessary equipment.
• Complete necessary paperwork for inventory, budgeting, records, etc.
• Supervise fundraising activities before and during the school year.
• Be a positive role model.

Requirements:
Golf teaching/coaching experience.
Golf knowledge and playing experience.
Knowledge of athletic events/scheduling.
Understanding of OSAA rules & regulations.
Ability to communicate and work well with high school students.
Ability to work with parents, Booster Club and fundraising events.
Current First Aid and CPR certification.
NFHS certified.
Mini bus/van driving clearance and valid driver’s license.
Must complete a fingerprint-based Criminal History Background Check.
Citizenship, residency or work visa required.
