Head Golf Coach
College in Senatobia, Mississippi is looking for a Head Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Supports student-athlete academic success, recruits prospective student-athletes following the college’s mission and student-athlete recruitment procedures, and plans and directs the applicable sports program/athletic team. The position will report to the Director of Athletics. This position will be coach of men’s and women’s golf teams.

Duties:
1. Develop and lead a progressive and innovative golf program in accordance with the policies of The Mississippi Association of Community College Conference and The National Junior College Athletic Association.
2. Ensure the program adheres to the mission, vision and values of the institution.
3. Recruit student athletes of strong character, who reflect the values of the institution and are excellent representatives of the college on and off the court.
4. Along with the Athletic Academic Coordinator, track and ensure the academic success of all golfers.
5. Prepare and manage the annual operating budget for the program.
6. Purchase necessary equipment and apparel.
7. Develop and maintain proper relationships with local golf courses for practices and tournaments.
8. Ensure that all golfers meet NJCAA eligibility requirements.
9. Work with MACCC coaches and the MACCC Commissioner to develop the yearly schedule.
10. Make all travel arrangements for away matches and tournaments.
11. With the assistance of the Director of Athletics engage in fundraising activities for the team and the athletic program as a whole.
12. Effectively communicate to the Director of Athletics regarding the activities of the golf team.
13. Work closely with the Director of Athletics to promote the program.
14. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree.
Master’s Degree desired.
Previous demonstrated experience as a college golf coach preferred.
