Director of Golf
Golf Course in Hurricane, Utah is looking for a Director of Golf.

Position Overview:
Responsible for overseeing and providing direction in all aspects of management of the golf course, including golf operations, course maintenance, sales and marketing, food and beverage, accounting/budgeting and human resources. In collaboration with the corporate Director of Operations, the General Manager coordinates and administers the course policies.

Requirements:
Minimum of five years management experience on a golf course, or significant hospitality industry experience i.e. hotel, resort, restaurant, retail or sports management.
Knowledge of accounting and financial management principles including, financial analysis OpEx, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, compensation and benefit administration, CapEx projects, audits, computers, business office organization and long-range financial planning.
Ability to motivate, develop and lead a team through proper training, positivity and leading by example.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with corporate team, managers, guests and team members in one-on-one and group situations in a fast-paced environment.
Human resource management skills in employee retention, management styles, organizational development, work/family balance, time management, stress management, labor issues and leadership vs. management.
Basic knowledge of golf course maintenance practices and equipment.
Must be punctual, dependable and able to work flexible schedules as needed (including weekends and holidays).
Effective negotiation skills.
Professional appearance and grooming.

Compensation:
$90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year.
