Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Golf Course in Purchase, New York is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Responsibilities Required of Assistant include but are not limited to:
• Maintaining, spraying, and watering of bentgrass greens, tees, and fairways.
• Supervising and scheduling a crew of 25.
• Planning and implementing cultural practices for playing surfaces.
• Mixing and applying pesticides.
• Irrigation and drainage audit and repairs.
• Overtime and weekends are necessary at times during growing season, time off will be scheduled.
• Working side by side with superintendent and other assistants to develop skills.

Requirements:
2-4 year degree or certificate in related field.
12 years experience in the golf industry.
Management experience preferred but not required.
NY Pesticide License needed within first year of employment.
Positive attitude.
Strong work ethic.
Ability to work well with other Assistants and crew.
Desire to “go above and beyond”.

Compensation:
$80,000 – $90,000 per year.
