Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Glen Head, New York is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of daily golf course maintenance operations.
• Supervise and train grounds maintenance staff, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
• Monitor turf health and implement best practices in fertilization, irrigation, aeration, and pest management.
• Ensure meticulous record-keeping of maintenance activities and equipment usage.
• Utilize the latest technology and software to enhance course maintenance and care.
• Adhere to and enforce all safety protocols and regulations.
• Make fertilizer and pesticide applications.

Requirements:
Degree or certification in Turfgrass Management or a related field is preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in golf course maintenance.
Comprehensive knowledge of agronomy, irrigation systems, and turfgrass management techniques.
Proficiency in operating and maintaining golf course maintenance equipment.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to obtain NYS Pesticide License within 6 months.

Compensation:
$75,000 – $85,000 per year.
