Head Boy’s Golf Coach
High School in Edinboro, Pennsylvania is looking for a Head Boy’s Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will lead our boys golf program, fostering a culture of skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork. As a key member of our athletic department, the position will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of student-athletes while promoting the values of integrity, discipline, and excellence both on and off the course.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive golf program for boys, including skill development, strategy, and competition preparation.
• Plan and conduct regular practices, focusing on individual skill development, course management, and mental preparation.
• Provide personalized instruction and feedback to athletes, helping them to improve their golf skills, technique, and confidence.
• Organize and oversee all aspects of team participation in matches, tournaments, and other competitive events, including scheduling, transportation, and logistics.
• Foster a positive and supportive team culture, emphasizing sportsmanship, respect, and teamwork among athletes.
• Collaborate with school administrators, athletic department staff, and parent volunteers to support the needs of the boys golf program and its participants.
• Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes, promoting academic success, personal growth, and character development both on and off the course.
• Uphold all district policies, procedures, and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and guidelines governing golf and interscholastic athletics.

Requirements:
Previous coaching experience in golf at the high school or collegiate level preferred.
Strong knowledge of golf techniques, skills, and etiquette.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
Demonstrated leadership ability and a commitment to fostering a positive team culture.
Ability to work collaboratively with athletes, parents, administrators, and fellow coaches.
Current CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain upon hiring.
Compliance with all necessary background checks and clearances required by the school district.
