Head Women’s Golf Coach
University in Ypsilanti, Michigan is looking for a Head Women’s Golf Coach.

Position Overview:
Recruit, counsel, and coach all student-athletes participating in the specific varsity sports program.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Adhere to any and all NCAA, Mid-American Conference, and the university policies, rules, regulations, and operational procedures. Organize and direct all activities of a varsity sport.
• Counsel and advise student-athletes with academic or personal problems.
• Direct the recruitment of prospective high school student-athletes to the university.
• Supervise assistant or graduate assistant coach, if applicable.
• Assist in the scheduling of athletic contests.
• Determine the amount and quality of equipment and supplies to be ordered. Monitor all expenditures associated with the varsity team budget.
• Perform various community services and functions such as clinic and speaking engagements. Perform fundraising activities.
• Instruct varsity credit classes as assigned by the Department. Perform related departmental duties as required.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree is required.
Previous player experience in the assigned sport at the college level is necessary.
One year of previous experience instructing and/or coaching in the assigned sport is necessary.
Knowledge of NCAA policies is required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Previous recruitment, scheduling, training, and sports fundraising experience is desirable.
