Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training
Country Club in Framingham, Massachusetts is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent-in-Training.

Position Overview:
The successful candidate will learn how to build a maintenance program, develop a budget and the budget approval process, how to successfully manage a small team, and any other tasks they request. You will be trained to be an Assistant Superintendent because even though we believe in promoting from within we also recognize people sometimes leave for better opportunities.

Requirements:
2 or 4 year degree with emphasis in Turfgrass Management preferred. Willing to consider applicants with less education and strong work experience.
1 to 2 years of experience working in the field of golf course maintenance demonstrating progressive levels of responsibility.
Prior experience with plant protectant and fertilizer applications preferred but not required.
Must obtain a Massachusetts pesticide license (Category 37) within 3 months.
Spanish speaking preferred but not required.
Must be a hard-working, conscientious individual willing to bring a positive attitude to work each day.

Compensation:
$65,000 – $70,000 per year.
