Assistant Golf Professional
Country Club in Honolulu, Hawaii is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Duties:
1. The ability to assist in the daily operation and supervision of golf staff.
2. The ability to train, motivate and supervise all employees to perform tasks to specified standards and hold them accountable to these standards.
3. The ability to manage the GHIN handicap system, hole-in-one program, lockers, and bag storage.
4. The ability to assist in retail merchandising, receiving, inventory, etc.
5. The ability to assist the Head Golf Professional in all areas and duties assigned.
6. The ability to control cash banks and cash handling procedures.
7. The ability to control the use of facility and play on the golf course; enforce correct use of tee sheets, player registration, collection of fees and adherence to established rules and bylaws of the Club.
8. The ability to assist in the execution of all tournament events.
9. The ability to ensure the neatness and cleanliness of retail areas and the bag room.
10. The ability to ensure an efficient and clean golf cart operation to wash, repair, store and disperse golf carts.
11. The ability to problem-solve member/guest complaints and concerns and provide resolutions.
12. The ability to create golf department work schedules and cover for shifts when needed.

Golf Service:
1. The ability to control the starting and marshaling of all play on the course.
2. The ability to enforce the rules and regulations of the course.
3. The ability to control the use of golf carts and practice facilities.
4. The ability to organize and stage all golf outings and tournaments.
5. The ability to maintain service equal to our established service standards.
6. The ability to organize and conduct PGA events such as the PGA Junior Golf League.
7. Become proficient and point person for EZ-suites or GOLFNOW.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree

Compensation:
$16.00 – $22.00 per hour.
