Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Littleton, Colorado is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Key knowledge, skills, aptitude and other traits:
• Knowledge of proper use of fertilizers, insecticides, fungicides, herbicides, and soil conditioners.
• Monitor turfgrass health and identify and address any issues or diseases.
• Responsible for providing recommendations to challenges and improving conditions on all maintained turfgrass.
• Manage the scheduling and supervision of staff, including assigning tasks and evaluating performance.
• Communicate and transfer knowledge both verbally and written to the Director of Agronomy and the rest of the supporting staff.
• Responsible for supervising the detailed maintenance of the property, staff and equipment.
• Participating in interviewing, hiring, directing, and supervising the Golf Course and Grounds team.
• Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry trends and best practices.

Requirements:
Preferred Qualifications:
2 or 4-year degree in turfgrass-related field.
Three to five years plus experience in agronomic practices, golf course maintenance, and progressive leadership responsibilities.
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to obtain a CO state pesticide applicator license.

Compensation:
$100,000 – $105,000 per year.
