Assistant Golf Course Superintendent
Country Club in Modesto, California is looking for an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent.

Position Overview:
Del Rio Golf and Country Club in Modesto, CA is seeking an experienced Golf Course Assistant Superintendent. The Assistant Superintendent will report directly to the Director of Agronomy David Bermudez and works in all aspects of the management of the golf course. The position requires a hands-on, detail-oriented person, who will be able to execute the duties of the position with minimal supervision. The Assistant Superintendent will work to achieve the operational goals of Del Rio Golf and Country Club. Del Rio Golf and Country Club is committed to the professional development of its team member and will be committed to the professional development of the Assistant Superintendent.

The primary role of the Assistant Superintendent is the management of the staff. Responsibilities will include training, instruction, coaching, counseling, follow up, leadership by example, enforcement of safety standards, as well as all other tasks involved in the management of the staff.

Requirements
• The position requires prior experience in golf course maintenance
• 2-year degree or equivalent in Turfgrass Management or a related field.

Compensation
$85,000 per year.
