Summer Golf Course Intern
Golf course in Scarborough, New York is looking for a Summer Golf Course Intern.

Position Overview:
Interns can expect to be involved in every aspect of the day-to-day operations, with an emphasis placed on plant protectant and fertilizer applications, intensive moisture management techniques, and special projects. Interns will work directly alongside all Assistants, Superintendents, and the Director of Agronomy, and share many of the same responsibilities. Internships are available year-round. Engaged interns will open more doors as they progress, and it is our hope that interns will seize the opportunity to convert their internship into a full time position. Two of our current assistant superintendents came through the internship program, and we have helped seven interns earn assistant superintendent positions across the country in the last four years.

Requirements:
Candidates should be enrolled in, or recently completed a related study in turf or plant and soil science.
Previous experience is a plus, however not a requirement.

Compensation:
$19 per hour.
