Golf Shop Attendant
Golf course in Petersburg, Virginia is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
The purpose of this class within the organization is to ensure all guests of the Golf Shop are greeted in a friendly manner and are provided courteous service. This class works under close supervision according to set procedures.

Essential Functions:
• Establishes excellent customer relations and ensures the highest quality of customer service to the golfing public.
• Enforces all rules and regulations governing the use of the golf course, golf carts and other golf facilities.
• Maintains product levels on the sales floor and organizes displays.
• Answers phones and sets schedules for tee time and assigns equipment.
• Oversees online social media.

Requirements:
Requires High School graduation or GED equivalent.
Requires some retail and public contact experience preferred.
An equivalent combination of training and experience (as approved by the department) may be used to meet the minimum qualifications of the position.
Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours with some weekend and holiday work.
Final applicants will be required to submit to a criminal history investigation and submit to urinalysis screening for illegal drug use.
Employees in this position are subject to random drug testing.
