Assistant Golf Professional
Golf Course in Englewood, Florida is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional.

Position Overview:
Support the Head Golf Professional and Director of Golf in the daily operation of the golf program.

Duties:
• Delivers and promotes prompt, courteous and outgoing friendly service to all members, guests and fellow employees.
• Assists Director of Golf/Head Golf Professional in instructing, merchandising, on-course, cart and personnel management responsibilities.
• Helps maintain golf shop inventory control system.
• Assists members by providing and interpreting policies, rules and regulations.
• Conducts golf clinics that are approved by the Director of Golf.
• Maintains handicap records.
• Operates golf shop in a professional manner.
• Promotes customer service to members, guests and employees.
• Performs daily cash reconciliation.
• Maintains overall efficiency of retail operation and inventory controls.
• Performs and helps manage most duties of golf operation.

Requirements:
This role is ideal for a PGA Associate or PGA Class A Professional who is passionate about members.
Experience in Golf Genius.
Must be a team player and have great work ethic.
Tournament operations experience preferred including golf genius tournament software.
Strong skill set in word, excel, outlook, google and tee time and pos software required.
Strong organizational skills: ability to manage priorities and workflow.
Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.

Compensation:
$17.00 – $20.00 per hour.
