Golf Shop Attendant
Golf course in Louisville, Kentucky is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant.

Position Overview:
Coordinate with the Director of Golf and Assistant Golf Professionals to support and deliver a seamless, friendly and welcoming golf experience. The focus of this position is to provide members and guests with complete golf-specific services including: checking in golfers for play and collecting corresponding fees, monitoring pace of play, retail soft and hard goods knowledge and sales, event enrollment and friendly customer-oriented service that will complement members’ tastes, needs, and lifestyles. Receive written and verbal instructions from the Assistant Golf Professionals and the Director of Golf.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:
• Greeting members and guests as they arrive, accurately log and charge members and guests for golf fees through the POS and enforce club policies.
• Understand and monitor the tee sheet and golf cart tracking system in order to properly manage play while consistently maintaining communications and coordination with both golfers and staff.
• Provide full tournament and event enrollment functions for members including event dates, format explanation, handicap requirements, and opening/closing dates for event registration.
• Assist Golf Professionals to provide member services in the area of golf equipment, apparel and gift sales providing input on product inventory levels and quality service.
• Listen to members’ wants and needs and communicate them to the Golf Professional Staff.
• Create visual merchandising displays and assist in rearranging the golf shop periodically.
• Follow procedures in opening and closing the golf shop and golf operations.
• Assist in dusting, cleaning windows, vacuuming and general cleaning.
• Have a good general knowledge of golf and golf procedures.

Requirements:
Applicants need not have experience but must have a customer service approach and have a basic understanding of golf.

Compensation:
$11.00 per hour.
